I help transform brands through graphic design, photography, videography, and social media management.
Since a young age, Emma Hudson has had a passion for media production. Whether it was graphic design, photography, or videography, she was always in the process of creating. Hudson began taking her crafts seriously her sophomore year of high school when she entered a short film competition, winning first place in North Carolina. The summer following this competition, she went on to study at the New York Film Academy, where she worked with professional filmmakers to enhance her skills.
In 2019, Hudson went to the University of North Carolina Wilmington to pursue her degree in Communication Studies, concentrating in media production and integrated marketing. Throughout her college career, she has focused on growing as a creator both inside and outside the classroom. For the summer of 2020, Hudson interned at St. Thomas More as a social media manager. That fall, she served as the head of public relations for the Theta Xi chapter of Kappa Delta. This position involved filming recruitment videos, maintaining communication with campus organizations and alumni, and managing their online presence. Currently, Hudson serves as an intern with the production team at Port City Community Church. One of Hudson’s primary roles is filming and producing live events. Additionally, she manages their social media presence (@portcityproduction) through graphic design, videography, photography, post scheduling, and captioning.
Hudson plans to graduate in the fall of 2022, expecting to move to Raleigh to pursue a career in integrated marketing. Her ultimate goal is to work with a company to manage its social presence and produce content.
