Jannika Rauss is a visiting student for the fall term at the University of North Carolina Wilmington. Originally she is from Germany, where she studies her Master’s degree in Business Administration with a major and minor in Marketing at the University of Muenster. In the past few years, Jannika has spent her free time traveling through Africa and South America which gained her valuable life experience. She also enjoys good blockbuster movies and U.S. sports.
After graduation from her home university Jannika wants to combine her personal interests with her academic background by pursuing a career abroad (hopefully in the U.S.) in social media marketing either in the entertainment or sports industry. Next to her previous work experience in a full-time position in sales operations, Jannika has gained valuable social media skills through her social media and integrated marketing communications class at UNCW. Together with an internship in the marketing department after her semester at UNCW, she will be well-prepared for her future career.
