Forwarding Fashion Marketing and Social Media Management into the Future
Eva Walton is a senior at the University of North Carolina Wilmington pursuing her Bachelor of Arts in Communication Studies with a focus in Integrated Marketing Communications. Eva is a part of the Greek organization on campus, Phi Mu, where she has been able to grow in roles such as Social Media Chair and Parents Weekend, and Alumni Chair. Through her role as social media Chair, she was able to foster a first-hand experience of managing social media platforms, creating content, and establishing a brand image. She has a passion for not only communication and marketing but for fashion as well. With over 5 years of personal styling, team leadership, and social media content creation, for an expanding fashion business, she is ready to expand her horizons and offer her expertise. She specialized in digital media content, social media marketing, fashion/eCommerce, and influencer outreach. She has demonstrated her understanding on social media marketing through IMC projects such as a complete Brand Identity Guide detailing a video company she created and completing her Hootsuite Platform Training to further social media management learning.
Eva sets herself apart with a keen eye for up-and-coming trends through an active presence on social media. With a background in communication and marketing, she can seek out new opportunities that allow her to engage with individuals she might not normally come across. She has a creative eye for design, merchandising, and exceptional skills in customer service that will help companies grow their engagement and strengthen and diversify their online presence.
In her free time, she enjoys spending time with friends, going to the beach with a good book, and discovering new coffee shops around Wilmington. After she graduates in May, she hopes to spend the summer traveling around Australia before continuing her career in the fashion marketing and social media world.
