Rita Cronin

Rita Cronin is a senior at the University of North Carolina Wilmington majoring in Communication Studies with an IMC concentration and double minoring in Leadership Studies and Psychology. She works on campus as the Director of Homecoming for the Association for Campus Entertainment. She is responsible for planning and executing events for the student body during the week of Homecoming and residing over all aspects of the Homecoming court. Rita is also part of the UNCW Student Ambassadors—a group that serves as an entity of the Advancement office and acts as a Student-Alumni Association.

Rita has enjoyed her involvement so much, that she intends to pursue a master’s degree in Higher Education and Leadership, to hopefully replicate her incredible experience for the college students of the future. She hopes to attend a university up north and eventually settle down in Boston. In her free time, Rita loves to travel, go to concerts (ask her how many times she has seen Harry Styles!), and play with her cat, Tortellini.
