Kevin Boyette is a senior at the University of North Carolina Wilmington (UNCW). Set to graduate in the spring of 2024, Kevin aspires to pursue a career in the sales industry. Kevin is from Garner, North Carolina; a growing town just southeast of Raleigh. Kevin had an interesting journey to get to UNCW. In the fall of 2019, Kevin attended his pilot school, Campbell University. After careful consideration, Kevin decided to transfer from Campbell to UNCW in the fall of the 2021-22 academic calendar year.
Transferring in as an economic major, Kevin was unsettled by his educational path. After reconsideration of the degree options available, Kevin decided to change to majoring in Communication Studies. The swap of majors would prove to be permanent as Kevin is currently finishing out his degree.
Kevin has cherished his time at the university, getting involved with many local organizations on campus such as RUF, CRU, and other campus ministries. Through those organizations, Kevin has learned a great deal about using social media to engage others campus wide and get them involved.
Kevin’s passion for community involvement, extra curricular activities, and other campus organizations has proven to place Kevin in an ideal spot. Through his major, he is learning of new ways to reach people every day. Kevin’s mission is to help others engage with different organizations through face-to-face and social media interactions.
