Kate Popielarcheck is a senior at UNCW, majoring in communication studies and minoring in journalism. She is a North Carolina native as she grew up in the Raleigh area. She spends most of her free time with friends and family, staying active and outdoors.
She is organized, outgoing, and enjoys writing so when she committed to attending UNCW, making the choice to major in communication studies was an easy one. Through her communication studies major, she has a focus in IMC-, or integrated marketing communication and is currently a member of UNCW’s Pier601 Creative team. In her future career, she hopes to work in public relations, specifically as a copywriter or in event planning.
Kate is an outgoing and dedicated senior finishing her degree in communication studies with a strong work ethic and meticulous organizational skills. She excels in creating meaningful interpersonal as well as professional connections through effective and efficient communication. She is passionate about positive change and is excited for her future in roles related to public relations, marketing, and organizational communication.
