Turning common and bland into an intentional brand.
Kelly Geiger has spent the last four years learning and growing in her degree of Communication Studies with a focus in Integrated Marketing Communication alongside a minor in Digital Arts.
During her time in the Communication Studies Department, she has gotten hands on experience planning and executing COM Studies Week and been a member of Pier 601, a creative applied learning course that is a student-led agency completely run and operated by upperclassman.
While completing a minor in Digital Arts, Kelly has developed a deeper understanding of graphic design, typography, and branding.
Kelly maintained a full-time student role while holding a variety of leadership positions as well as her current jobs as a graphic design and marketing assistant for HALF UNITED and a creative design intern at nCino.
Kelly has been interested in a career in graphic design ever since she was young, but she knew a Communication Studies degree would be extremely beneficial. Her love of art comes from her dad, a full-time artist, while her love of COM comes from her mom, who was also a COM major in college!
Post-Graduation she is interested in a graphic design position that will focus on brand development or content creation within a company that she feels connected to, whether that be because of the products sold, the company culture, or the meaning behind the brand.
