So I actually work at Harris Teeter, and everyone knows about the VIC cards. I never really thought much of it until this class where I realized just how much information they get out of me. My buying habits are something that I know about, but that doesn’t mean I want other people knowing about them! However, it is really nifty when a coupon prints off for some cat food or something because they know I have a cat because at some point I bought cat food, toys, or litter. SO there is a fine line somewhere, I just wish it were easier to find. Are the sales and coupons worth it?
